The GP60 is the last of the Geeps, and was built between 1985 and 1994. It is known as the first EMD 3rd generation diesel, featuring microprocessor control over many aspects of locomotive operation. These locomotives are powered by a 16 cylinder 710G3A 3,800 horsepower prime mover. DCC/Sound Equipped. Fully assemebed and ready to run. Prototypically accurate body details, such as dynamic brakes, headlight location, rood details and fuel tanks. Separately applied detail parts. Metal grab irons and lift rings. Detailed trucks and underbody. Brass bells and horns. MU hoses. Accurate painting and lettering.
